This page is dedicated to conversations and comments in response to the article Christ-Driven Instead of Consumer-Driven. This article will undoubtedly spawn many comments as our church culture today is so in tune with what people want from a church that we often forget what God wants from a church. We care so much about what people think and how many are attending our services that we change our teaching to accommodate the culture instead of calling for strong Christians who live for Christ in an ungodly culture. Share your thoughts on these ideas in the space below.

I have to admit that I don't always spur my people on to good works. I invite them and ask them to sign up to do stuff but I don't really spur people on as Hebrews tells us to do.

You have given us something to think about. Our ministry is very consumer-driven -- we are always doing things to try and get people to come rather than focusing on what is Biblical and pleasing to God.
