​Churches are closing. Pastors are calling it quits. Megachurches attract thousands to their events but few people become followers of Jesus. Church leaders rush off to the latest leadership seminars and then bust their butts trying to be better communicators or masters of social media. We keep looking to the wisdom of man and corporate strategies to fix our churches but we always seem to be coming up short.

Wait a minute! We have an idea! What if we endeavored to become the church that God wants us to be instead of the church that our culture wants us to be? What if we paid attention to what God says about the church in the Bible? What if we began "doing church" the way it is described in the New Testament? What would happen if we obeyed the commands of the Apostle Paul and Jesus Himself? All the articles on this site are devotionals that wrestle with how to apply New Testament teaching to modern-day churches. There are a lot of them, so let the Spirit lead you as you pick one each day and then take time to pray and think about the implications of what you have read.
